My career in real estate began when I joined the team of award-winning builders, Portrait Homes. During my 7 years with this great company, I worked in Sales for new construction, working closely with clients through the entire purchase, building and moving into their new home. I also spent 2.5 years as a site coordinator for Portrait Homes an assisted the site superintendent with coordinating trades, inspections, ordering homeowner upgrades and various other roles during the construction process. Prior to working with Portrait Homes, I worked as a marketing manager and coupled with my real estate experience allows me to bring a very extended skill st to our business in the real estate industry.
When not working I enjoy walking, bike riding, family and being a servant to my cat, Tiger.
I had a lengthy career in the retail environment prior to entering the Real Estate and Mortgage business. With over 32 years in leadership Roles at the Overwaitea Food Group as a Store manager, Regional Operations Specialist and liaison to Head Office as a business analyst. During my time I was instrumental in implementing chain wide operations efficiencies, that after 8 years away from the business, are still in use today. My career spanned working in 17 different stores and a region of 19 stores having to adapt a leadership style to literally thousands of different people. Over the years I am proud to say that I am still in contact with many of my peers and am still well respected with the people I worked with.
I have a passion for helping people and have always put the interests of others ahead of myself. To this day, I am still told I was the manager people enjoyed working with the most. I was even honoured to being able to present long term team members their service awards at their own gala dinner and I was chosen on several occasion, even 5 years after I left the business, to be the one that presented them to the recipients.
When not at work, I like walking, biking, motorcycles and being a big brother to my parrot, Bob.
Today, we work as a team. Bringing together our diverse backgrounds and experience allows us a competitive edge when working with our clients.
The purchasing and selling process is a big decision and can take a long time. Often can take months and even years. We both are here to help you from the first meeting to long after the buying or selling is complete. We believe that communication is key throughout the process and we pride ourselves on our ability to connect with people and keeping you informed.
We love that our clients can meet with us and be able to talk about the entire process of buying, selling and mortgages all in the same meeting. One of the most important aspects is making sure our clients know the true cost of buying and selling and mortgages, even if you prefer to arrange financing through your own bank.
